Vacuum Manifolds
Polycarbonate
The Spe-ed Mate AquaSafe vacuum manifolds, originally designed for the nuclear industry, are practical for any aqueous or acidic solid phase extraction procedure. Constructed of polycarbonate, AquaSafe vacuum manifold are up to 250 times more impact resistant than glass manifolds. Unlike stainless steel manifolds, AquaSafe products resist acids*.
Spe-ed Mate AquaSafe is available in three sizes:
- Spe-ed Mate-20 AquaSafe 20-position manifold with adjustable racks available for both 20mL LSC vials and 50mL (30mm diameter) tubes commonly used in radiochemistry applications.
- Spe-ed Mate-16 AquaSafe 16-position manifold has the same adjustable rack system as the 20-position manifold. The shorter length is ideal for use in small glove boxes.
- Spe-ed Mate-16 AquaSafeJr. 16-position manifold is approximately one-half the height of the above models and will accommodate 20mL LRC vials. This unit is perfect for glove box work where height is an issue.
*AquaSafe products should not be used with organic solvents.
